I started recording this album almost immediately after releasing "7 Year Itch" - it was around this time that we started to get our first visitors after lockdown. My good friends Dara and Omeed came round to meet my kids for the first time. Dara told me he had heard 7 Year Itch and he liked it but the beats were not hard enough. This was one of those comments that rattle around in the head of an artist. So this album was a culmination of that advice and my desire to do better.

This album also features two of the biggest collaborations I have ever worked on and I am still amazed that I managed to have them on the album.

I was working with Whitey on the Howling album around 2008 when we stumbled on Mic's first SBTV freestyles and it was one of those moments where we looked at each other and thought shit we better up our game! That doesn't happen very often. Righteous continues to be one of the most exciting rappers in the UK today and it was an honour to work with him.

I have been a fan of Frukwan since walkman days. I very distinctly remember doing my paper round listening to the first Gravediggaz album. He is almost definitely the most iconic and recognisable voice I have ever worked with and in true hip hop legend spirit, delivered his verse to me on Christmas Eve 2022. I won't forget that one in a hurry.

This album promises to be the first in a series.
